Owensboro Chiropractic & Rehab is pleased to offer Massage Therapy to our list of services.  Our patients enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and the comfort of knowing that the bodywork being done is by licensed healthcare professionals in a licensed healthcare facility.  At Owensboro Chiropractic & Rehab, we believe that our patients should be able to enjoy the many health benefits of Massage Therapy at an affordable price.

We offer several types of massage therapy! These include:

Relaxation Massage:
-Most popular massage, relaxing massage techniques designed to increase circulation, decrease muscle spasms / adhesions and work out tender areas.

Massage with Cupping:
-Includes cupping with massage, uses suction and negative pressure to release tight muscles, loosen adhesions, tone and contour tissue, and circulate stagnation (blood, lymph, toxins etc.) back into the circulatory system to drain excess fluid.

Cupping Therapy:
-Heaven and Earth - (1 hour) relax tight muscles with cupping on the back and shoulders, then continue with face lifting and drainage and finish with magnetic reflexology.
       -Magnetic Reflexology - (30 min) performed on feet and calves
       -Facial Lifting and Drainage - (30 min) performed on neck and face

Therapeutic Massage:
-A massage that is designed specifically for soft tissue injuries. These massages are more specific to the musclature and tissues surrounding the area of injury and are designed to promote healing and pain itself.

Sports Massage:
-Sports massage focuses on increasing human performance in any activity or sport.

Although Massage Therapy is not covered by many third party payers (insurance), it is covered by some.  Please call your individual insurance company to check your particular policy.  Massage Therapy is covered by most Personal Injury and Worker's Compensation plans when it is determined to be medically necessary.
